Artist Statement

I make Bits.

Each individual BIT is unique, however depth, shape and materials vary. They magnetically adhere to steel canvases and are not intended to be static. Life is not rigid, why should art be?

I am completely taken with the idea of the potentially infinite and am creating an art form that is capable of it. My BITS occupy a space that involves sculpture, painting, and photography. Even though I work on distinct collections ultimately I consider my BITS as one epic work of art with interchangeable parts where anything is possible.
