Artist Statement
Following a time honored tradition, Vanessa Watts paints portraits to immortalize contemporary models. The subjects of Ms. Watts' work are her friends, neighbors and family. The goal of these paintings is to capture the myriad expressions of human sincerity. Ms. Watts works in acrylic and mixed media.
