Artist Statement

Light and Color

Light fascinates me. I developed a fascination for all kinds of light, such as the sun, candles, lamps, and fire. The reflections of any of these sources draw my mind into an illusory world or a window to my mind, where I have found a pallet of powerful colors that independently and simultaneously create “illusions” of everyday life.. By transposing these images onto a canvas, my work will remind you of the natural state of nature through the human body, fruits and flowers.
