Artist Statement

Representational imagery affords me a great vehicle for expression and narrative while pushing the limits of paint. In my figurative work I am pursuing mood and message about the human condition in states of dilemmas, subconscious and conscious conflicts, dreams and fears. My still life and landscape paintings let me
explore color and textures as well as visual opulence.
