Artist Statement

Ivory's favorite subjects are atmosphere, wonder and discovery, which she addresses in multimedia installations and quantification. Sculpture, sound, smells and ink-drawn charts are all leveraged to create intimate self-portraits of the artist.

One ongoing series was born out of a daily work of art project, where quantified self process and observation combined to inform charts that run the gamut of subject matter - psychology, food, and travel, to name a few. This has developed into a practice that encourages experimentation and performance, which later are translated into these "Art Charts."
