Artist Statement

I use a wide variety of media, including watercolor, pipe cleaners, cement and glass. The work contemplates everyday thoughts, anxieties and wishes, typically through a combination of text and image. As a whole, the works oscillate between humorous and troubling.

I am a member of Wayfarers, which is comprised of private studios and communal work areas with a gallery up front. It is designed to encourage an environment of support, collaboration, criticism and exchange between members, other artists, and the community at large.
