Artist Statement

I have three bodies of work in development. Although they are in completely different mediums, they deal with the same conceptual interests of how we perceive "the real" in relationship to the spectacle, mediation, and issues of voyeurism, power and control.

My first work above is an interactive sculpture where participants go head to head with the artist for control of viewership.

The next body of work are large oil paintings that are made through using varying forms of "effects-driven" painting methods.

The last works are two examples of my video game landscape photography.
