Artist Statement

My goal is to make a painting that is resonant with our position in the universe. My hope is the painting is able to mirror the viewer's approach to it while providing mystery.

Most of my work is oil on linen with metal leaf and found objects embedded in the gesso. I work large, small, and sizes in between.

I have worked out of my current studio for 10 years.
