Artist Statement

If I know you, I’ve probably pictured you having sex.

I am curious about privacy, intimacy, and the unknown. I grew up in a conservative house where sex was never discussed. It’s a primitive behavior that we all do a little bit differently. Unless you have been with a person, you cannot fully know how they are in bed, on the couch, in the woods behind the park, or at the bottom of the sea. This project is a construction of cut up magazines, sex positions, and the stories, fantasies, and curiosities of the people I know and me.
