Artist Statement
My sculpture is multimedia: abstract, and evocative of natural forms. I construct large public commissions and private works; fabricating the work myself to control the entire creative process.
Currently I am creating heavily forged sculptures utilizing small steel curvilinear trusses intertwined and knotted in endless loops, which create gestural and evocative organisms.
Recent public works: "Crescendo" on the East River's Northside Pier; & "Serpentine Structures" in the Hudson River Park. The immediacy of monoprinting contrasts with the sustained effort of the sculptures. I develop ideas by working on these colorful prints, the major part of my 2D output.

rubydartz says: This sculpture on the Brooklyn waterfront fits so perfectly into the landscape. Loved it the first time I saw it and was happy to see it made the Go project. Bravo.
