Artist Statement
Marilyn Louis is an aspiring performing and visual artist. She will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in the Performing Arts and Women's Studies from the CUNY BA Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies Program this September 2012. In addition to painting, she sings, dances, and acts. She recently performed in a musical theater production at Hunter College. Her career goals are to work as a performing artist and continue to expand her social-consciousness through the arts, feminism and Women's Studies.
