Artist Statement

Kerrie begins her work by making multiple parts or by manipulating existing jewelry components. She groups these elements in small piles, all spread out. She gets excited by images, from perusing through historical jewelry books to finding visuals on the Internet. Kerrie gives herself the freedom to arrange, rearrange, and refine her work as the pieces grow since there is no definite plan from the start.
