Artist Statement
Growing up, I was heavily influencenced by record album and poster art of the late 60's & 70's, along with comic books and a continuing admiration for street art and graffiti culture. I paint with a graphic sensibility regarding line, shape, form and color, hoping to make a connection to the people and places around me. My medium is acrylic on canvas. I've never worked from a "artist studio" outside my home.
In addition to painting, I live and work as an Urban Farmer in Red Hook Brooklyn.
