Artist Statement

I make large scale sculpture installations and public art. I am currently in progress on two large scale public art pieces, one of which, the "Butterflies of Memory", will be the 3rd largest that has been made in NYC.

Many of my sculptural installations are made of cast candy and all of them are temporary.

For me art is a life raft, it rescues me from the crippling minutia, bureaucracy and boredom that has become our everyday world, and allows me to say something real. This moment is sacred and I work to create it, building what seems impossible.
