Artist Statement

Geometry, replication and modification are used in my work to create a ceramic snapshot
of the complexities of everyday life. My work explores the relationship of parts to a whole, and the exterior vs. the interior void. My practice examines the status of ceramics, playfully referencing the medium in relation to other contemporary art forms
and reflecting the tenuous/enduring potential of relationships.
