Artist Statement

Through dissolving forms, broken lines, overlapping narratives, and layered repetition, my work addresses the density and fragility of urban life and its connections to obsolescence, music, and social psychology. I approach issues of urban renewal and decay. I celebrate obsolete media objects as vessels for memory and culturally loaded structural elements whose lost content echoes into the present. My intention is to capture contradictory moments of beauty, confusion, intimacy, isolation, and the sprawling electricity of human interaction and memory.
