Artist Statement

Art is the means in which I find my voice. Painting and drawing has always seemed more natural to me than writing; ever since I was a child I’ve created stories using images. They have always spoken to me more than words.
My favorite things about my work include the way in which the line travels through the canvas or paper, the vibrance of the colors, and above all, the multiplicity of interpretations that the content arouses in the viewer.
