Artist Statement
My work is both an engagement with the thought process as it is an escape. The paintings are evidence of the footprints of my thinking. The work functions as an invitation to conjure possible dialogue between the work and the viewer. My work engages social and environmental issues.I surrender my burden of thought to the viewer. The landscape is the true altar of all religions, the air we inhale, the divine spirit. We exist only as a people, the individual self is merely a moment in time. I am a moment in an eternity of time.
