Artist Statement

christina j. wang was born in 1987 in honalulu, hawaii and raised in hong kong. in 2009, she received her BA in visual arts (honors), history of art and architecture and economics from brown university. recently, she completed her mfa at the school of visual arts. she is obsessed with objects, beautiful, pleasurable and unexpected things. wang lives in manhattan and paints in brooklyn.
