Artist Statement
I am interested adjusting images & definitions that are digested, embodied, and regurgitated every day by the masses. As a Black gay man living in America, my experience provides me with a unique opportunity to view the world from that of a super minority. My perception of self and how others perceive me is ultimately the discourse that I find compelling. In exploring these topics, I've created an information-based visual language that I use to talk about the altered Black psyche and its relationship to the community at large in a real or perceived way.
