starting from silence
the works are unfolding ....
abstract representational?
the idea is taking something from a landscape,
a pine cone, the medium for
which I may well express some thing, a beginning.
inspirations from the form, contours, light, depth, the energy of the object, just from its sheer being, the fact that it is an unnoticed moment in nature and beautiful.
oh yes, and how it grows in my perception...from the ovulate scale to the apophysis to the umbo .... it's a journey, I'll tell ya.
so with this little pine cone there is a story to be seen.
