Artist Statement

I enjoy defacing things, particularly beauty. I have had an increasing facination with the unavoidable existence of excess, which I find in everything that surrounds me in New York. Through the pleasures within the wear and tear, I have been able to build, break down and blend layers of my favorite materials, exposing my conflicting feelings and desirable confusion of beauty's unorthodox chaos.
Size and material vary, ranging from 5"x5" to 60"x84". I have paintings, drawings, altered books and collages, you will be able to see a nice variety. Hope to see you there~
