Artist Statement

My work takes root in questions of space, scale, time past and future, engaging themes of dystopias, utopias, and the problematic of hope facing the human experience. Drawing from man-made elements of the everyday as well as natural phenomena, I undertake a portraiture of the possible, of parallel universes and sites of transformation.

Components of chance are central to my process granting access to primal energy and fertile unknowns. I approach art in a free-handed manner, treading lightly, attempting to harness the ephemeral while fusing minimalist aesthetics with the power of new media, leaving ample room for the unexpected.
