Artist Statement

I'm always thinking of new ways to express ideas of both disappearance and sublimation. I would describe my work as controlled expressionism. I often use a variety of techniques and work for long periods of time on each work so each piece continues to develop and change from the original idea and intention. Art to me is about uncovering what is all ready there along with creating something entirely new in the process.
