Artist Statement

I have been making posters for over 30 years. They are placed in our front window in a similar act the way Keith Haring did his public drawings in the subway. Providing art unexpectingly. I also work with neon, found neons which I alter by blocking out letters and neons I have made for me, like: "I gave you a retrospective at the city dump" and "Satan is happy with your progress." Most of the neons and posters are personal and private statements made collective and public. I also paint on drumheads and call them Dummkopfs (dumb heads)...
