Artist Statement

In the earlier days, the tools that I used to paint large scale designs and images on windows and walls began to make their way into my studio. Among other tools the three inch foam roller has been for a while now one of my pleasures in painting.
The sensibility of some of the large figurative works are a direct result of this tool.

I work in abstractions and I work with the figure.

I have recently started a series of sculptures utilizing rattan and mulberry paper.
