Artist Statement
My work is about the dialogue that each person has with theirself and others on both a subconscious and conscious level. It is a reflection of an individual's dream that coincides with the sweeping dream of humanity "to be our best selves". I aim to illustrate the moment of enlightenment that we all seek. Aesthetically, I believe that old, experienced things have wisdom. I try to let that wisdom inform my work.
