Artist Statement
My work is a systematic exploration of recurring forms, figures and processes from my conscious and subconscious mind through methodical and labor-intensive processes. The physicality of my process is an intentional extension of my upbringing in a middle class environment in Buffalo, New York. My materials are also drawn from this where most of them are used in construction or other trades/crafts. With the use of a digitized head, the sculptures contain various ambiguous forms that resemble organs and muscles of the body. These forms are meant to provoke a discussion about the body and perception of reality.

mooretranslations says: His art is about validating everything that comes from you, no matter how abstract or meaningless it seems to someone else. From talking with him, I realized that everything is abstract, even 'the obvious' - because all things are open to interpretation.
