Artist Statement

A rich contrast of colors, textures and mediums creates a vibrant work space. Alive with more than two people and a dog, it seems the entire neighborhood resides in this subterranean grotto of stone.

Costain and Stacy Cushman have continuously worked on paintings and sculpture for the past eight years.

The space is a body of work and within it each detail has its own story.
